In the heart of the Black Forest
—
, nestled in the village

The Koinonia Community Center is located in the Freudenstadt district of the Black Forest. About 15 km from the district seat of Freudenstadt, the Koinonia Community Center is situated in the tranquil village of Wälde, which is part of the municipality of Loßburg.

Nestled in the Heimbach Valley, Wälde is a very rural community; with its approximately 400 residents, it is small and intimate and surrounded by nature.

Here we are

The Koinonia Life House is located in the village of Wälde in the Black Forest (Freudenstadt district) and is part of the municipality of Loßburg. The village, with a population of about 400, is located approximately 15 km from Freudenstadt and sits idyllically in the Heimbach Valley—a rural, intimate setting surrounded by nature.

Our location allows children and young people to grow up close to nature, which opens up unique opportunities for exploration in an increasingly digital world. Through a variety of outdoor activities, the influence of digital media can be consciously balanced, and alternative worlds of experience can be created.

The stream and the forests invite exploration and short hikes in both summer and winter, while the rural surroundings offer diverse encounters with animals and plants. The familiar village setting also provides a sense of security, orientation, and comfort.
