Our Labrador, Lao-Lao
Lao-Lao was born in 2015 and has been an integral and important part of our staff since the Lebenshaus was founded.
She lives with us as a trusted member of the family and is part of our daily lives.
She has often been there for children during tough times, stolen Nutella sandwiches, given out wet kisses, and kept us all on our toes.
Besides relaxing, Lao-Lao always enjoys going for walks in nature.
Our Chickens
Our flock of chickens: browns, whites, green-egg layers, Marans, Königsbergers, Sperbers, and many more.
Our colorful flock of chickens provides us with fresh, multicolored eggs every day ...
…and in return, he’s happy to get our leftovers.
Salomo, the cock of the walk, makes sure everyone is doing well and that the girls don't argue too much.
Every now and then in the spring, we have an incubation project where we keep the eggs warm in the incubator for a while and turn them every day…
…until, hopefully, after 21 days, some cute chicks hatch that you can watch, care for, and cuddle.
Sooner or later, you'll see how many hens and how many roosters the brood has produced!

Summer Vacation 2025
With the Lifehouse project, Lebenshaus Koinonia is opening its doors to young people from the town and the surrounding area! At regular intervals, we want to invite young people ages 13 and up to join us at Lebenshaus to experience evenings filled with fellowship and encouragement. In the warehouse adjacent to the house, we’ll create a cozy, youth-friendly space and, in cooperation with the various youth ministries of the local (church) congregations, organize great evenings.
